Shipping policy
We ship live plants with great care to ensure they arrive safely and in healthy condition. Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and we are committed to supporting you throughout the shipping process.
Processing Time
Orders are processed within 2–5 business days. Processing time does not include transit time.
Shipping Methods & Carriers
We offer shipping via UPS, USPS, and FedEx. Available shipping options and rates are displayed at checkout. Transit times vary based on the carrier and service selected.
Shipping Area
We currently ship within the continental United States (U.S. mainland) only.
We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or offshore islands.
Orders placed with shipping addresses outside the U.S. mainland may be canceled and refunded.
Carrier Responsibility & Shipping Issues
Once a package leaves our facility, the shipping carrier is responsible for delivery. However, we understand that delays or issues may occur—especially when shipping live plants.
To protect your order, we purchase additional shipping coverage equal to the product value. In the event of loss, damage, or severe delay:
- We will assist with filing a carrier claim
- Refunds are issued only after claim approval
- In some cases, a replacement may be offered, which may require the return of the original plant
Cold & Heat Weather Shipping Disclaimer
Live plants are sensitive to extreme temperatures. While we carefully pack all orders, we are not responsible for damage caused by heat, cold, or weather-related carrier delays once a package is in transit.
Customers are responsible for selecting an appropriate shipping method based on their local weather conditions. We strongly recommend expedited shipping during periods of extreme heat or cold. Heat packs or insulation may be included at our discretion but do not guarantee protection against temperature extremes or prolonged carrier delays.
Shipping Hold by Request
Customers may request a shipping hold by email info@haruhana-usa.com. Orders will be held at no charge until conditions improve or a preferred ship date is confirmed.
Shipping holds must be requested before the order ships. Once an order is in transit, we are unable to place it on hold.
Damaged or Delayed Packages
If your plants arrive damaged or appear affected by shipping delays, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include clear photos of:
- The plant
- The packaging (inside and outside)
This documentation is required to assist with claims and resolution.
Address Accuracy
Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate at checkout. We are not responsible for delays, losses, or returned packages due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.
