Platycerium willinckii cv.' Gabriel' pup - Offset from Mother Plant
A unique selection from a dwarf nook spore, P. willinckii ‘Gabriel’ matures into a magnificent form with antler fronds spreading elegantly like angel wings. The thick, pearly white fronds give it a luminous, sculptural presence, making it stand out among staghorn ferns.
Part of the Haruhana Collection, ‘Gabriel’ was named after the archangel in Hebrew tradition. In early Renaissance paintings, Gabriel was often portrayed as a female archangel, while later texts typically referred to him using male pronouns — a blend of strength and grace that mirrors this plant’s striking appearance.
Thriving in bright, indirect light with good air circulation, this cultivar is a rewarding choice for collectors who appreciate both rarity and beauty.
This pup is a young offshoot from a mature plant — perfect for collectors who want a head start compared to growing from spores.

Add Mounting to Your Plant
Choose Potted to receive your plant in its pot, or select a mounted option to have it carefully mounted by hand and delivered ready to hang.
Each mounted option includes a handmade wood board, New Zealand sphagnum moss, natural coconut husk, and an wire hanger.
Board sizes:
- Small: Approximately 9.75 × 6.5 inches
- Large: Approximately 11 × 7.5 inches
Each board is unique. Shape, grain, color, bark, and dimensions may vary. Knots, small cracks, and uneven edges are natural characteristics. Photos are for reference; specific boards cannot be requested.
Natural wood may develop cracks over time. Boards typically last approximately 1.5–2 years; check yours regularly and replace it when needed.
