P.willinckii 'Jenny' - Offset from Mother Plant - JEN-03

Platycerium willinckii ‘Jenny’- Offset from Mother Plant

Among the most celebrated cultivars of willinckii, Jenny holds a place as one of the legendary staghorn ferns. At its debut, it achieved a record-breaking auction price, instantly igniting a collecting frenzy and cementing its reputation as a rare and coveted treasure.

What makes Jenny truly unique is the exquisite form of its fertile fronds. Delicate and elegant, they carry a subtle whitish bloom, giving them a flower-like quality. As the plant matures, the fronds extend outward in intricate, multi-layered patterns, their many tips curling into charming, fist-like hooks. This complexity creates a dynamic, airy silhouette that is both graceful and captivating.

Despite its legendary status, Jenny remains relatively compact in size when compared to other willinckii cultivars. Its tidy shield fronds form a rounded nest at the base, balancing the layered cascade of fertile fronds above. The result is a plant that feels architectural and sculptural, a living work of art that transforms any space into a showcase.
